Clean and Safe Program

The Ambassadors of the Clean and Safe Team are making a visible difference in Riviera Beach. Seven days a week, they are beautifying the CRA District, greeting guests and visitors at Ocean Walk and the Riviera Beach Marina Village, and working alongside the law enforcement to provide an additional layer of safety and security. The Clean & Safe Team is committed to being a powerful advocate, leader and resource for the CRA’s continuing effort to provide an attractive, dynamic, and economically vital place to live, work and play.

Clean Team Ambassadors

  • Neighborhood Cleanup
Seven days a week, our Clean Team Ambassadors patrol the CRA District, removing litter, power-washing sidewalks and improving the visual appeal of our community. The Clean Team provides additional resources to key areas like Ocean Walk, the Broadway and Blue Heron corridors, and Riviera Beach Heights.
  • Graffiti Removal
The Clean Team focuses on removing eyesores that limit the visual appeal of the CRA District, including graffiti, stickers and posters. Our goal is to have the eyesores removed within 24 hours of notification.
  • Landscaping Maintenance
Well maintained properties are a key neighborhood improvement. Seven days a week, the Clean Team maintains CRA-owned property and sidewalks in areas including the Ocean Walk, the Broadway/Blue Heron corridor and Riviera Beach Heights. Additionally we work with our CDC partner to help clean and paint homes within the CRA.

Public Service Ambassadors

  • Visibility
Dressed in bright yellow and blue uniforms with their easily recognizable white hat, our Ambassadors are easy to spot, and provide visitors with a visible presence of increased safety and security.
  • Ocean Walk
Seven days a week, our Ambassadors patrol Ocean Walk, monitoring the safety of visitors and businesses, providing directions and being a second set of eyes for the police department. Additionally our Walking Buddy Program runs from 3pm to 10pm, Sunday through Thursday and 3pm to midnight on Friday and Saturday. Our Walking Buddies are there to assist you by escorting you to your vehicle, home or business, provide a battery jump if you need one, call for vehicle assistance, or even find a taxi for you. To reach a Walking Buddy just call 561-707-3602 or email us at to schedule a Walking Buddy.
  • Riviera Beach Marina
With construction at the marina in full swing, Ambassadors help visitors navigate parking, providing directions, and assisting with questions. Seven days a week, the CRA provides a shuttle to help improve access from the parking lots to the marina. The shuttle runs from 9am to 5:30pm Monday-Friday and 10am to 6:30pm on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.
