Part of the CRA’s mission is to create programs that enhance the livability of our community and make our waterfront more accessible to residents. Our partnership with the Florida Fishing Academy is an anchor of this type of programming. Thanks to an investment by the CRA, The Florida Fishing Academy provides free weekly education where residents can access training for boating, fishing, snorkeling, and kayaking. The Florida Fishing Academy also provides free summer job training to Riviera Beach residents looking to become lifeguards, instructors, or work in the boating industry. Investing in our community helps create opportunities for our children, and provides productive life lessons.
